As landscape architects, the VIC Group partners are skilled at working with communities, developers and municipal staff to generate sustainable community designs befitting of their context.  Kelleann Foster’s research at Penn State has enabled her to become an expert in creating community designs such as conservation design, traditional neighborhood developments and smart growth communities.  Recent examples include Springfield Commons in Harris Twp (under construction), PanTops in Patton Twp (nearly built out) and Halfmoon Village/ Agrarian Country in Halfmoon Twp. (in final planning approvals). The VICgroup has also worked for the Westmoreland County Smart Growth Partnership and with Pashek Associates, in Western PA on several community design-related projects.
