Company Profile

Since 1996 the Visual Interactive Communications Group has pioneered a process for transforming paper-based land use regulations into a digital multimedia format -- the Visual Interactive Code (VIC). Although the medium is digital, the real focus of our company is helping municipalities make their land use regulations more understandable, more useful, and better integrated.

We don't write regulations; we make them more dynamic and accessible. Our understanding of land use regulations combined with our expertise in community design and computer technology make us uniquely qualified to convert regulations and guidelines into a multimedia format that is like no other process or product.

Our first name is “visual” – we strive to create the most engaging graphics and digital communication available.  We enjoy developing custom illustrations to help clarify and communicate the issue or the design intent.

We have a 1-page PDF synopsis of our firm’s profile, which can be downloaded here.
