How Does VIC Work?
For those familiar with surfing the web, the way VIC works will be very comfortable. Our VIC creation process transforms a municipality’s legal-text policies, combines them with helpful illustrations and places it all into a non-intimidating, colorful, multimedia format. Since VIC is in HTML, it is "opened" and "run" using standard internet browsers. VIC will work for both PC and Mac users. Other interactive, web-enabled products only offer access via the internet (because the information is "tied" to a server). However VIC can also be distributed on a CD-ROM, making it accessible for users that cannot connect to the internet, or for communities that don't have websites.
