How your VIC is updated will depend on how often you'll be needing updates and how technically competent your staff is. Although VIC is HTML, it is not standard HTML and therefore must be maintained in the special software it was created in (Doc-to-Help™). If you will need to update the VIC more that every 2-months or so and your staff is computer-savy (though they do not have to be programmers), then it may make sense for the VIC Group to train your staff on the update process (this requires a confidentiality sign-off as this is VIC Group's proprietary process). Otherwise you can simply send us the required changes and the VIC Group can process them for you. (The charge for updates is based on hourly rate; we can quote upon review type and complexity of your changes.) Many municipal planning offices find that it is more cost and time effective for the VIC Group to make the update changes.
